Not Your Average Drop Zone
At Texas Skydiving, we do things a little differently.
Instead of trying to be the biggest, raddest, craziest dropzone in our area, we focus on being the friendliest, most personal and unique. We’re committed to maintaining a learning environment that promotes and advances the sport we’re all super passionate about. At our DZ, skydiving is approachable, inclusive, accessible and, above all else, fun.

The Texas Skydiving Story
Our Dropzone Owner, David Moore, began his journey in the sport of skydiving with a tandem jump at this same airfield in April 2008. By 2011 skydiving had become his career, and led to his opening Texas Skydiving here in 2016. For David, that first jump was life-changing, and he’s dedicated his life ever since to making the best possible version of that experience available to everyone.
Today, Texas Skydiving is renowned as being a “hidden gem” with professional staff, second-to-none customer service, fantastic amenities, incredible views, and a super chill vibe. We’re living the dream, y’all!

There’s a whole lot that sets our one-of-a-kind dropzone apart from the competition, and we’re proud that it shows.
Stress-Free, Rural Setting
We operate from a private air strip on a real-life ranch, complete with friendly llamas and donkeys. Located between Austin and College Station, TXS is an easy drive through the countryside and the scenery is gorgeous.
Small DZ; Big DZ Amenities
We are small but mighty – we’ve got it all! Huge airfield, meticulously-maintained planes, state-of-the-art equipment and gear, excellent amenities, top-notch instructors and staff, friendly fun jumpers, and great events.

Hand-Picked Staff
We’re picky about who we hire. Our staff has several decades of combined time in the sport, applying skills drawn from valuable experience at drop zones across the country. We’ve seen what works, and we know how to bring it!
Individualized Attention
We don’t overschedule and then “turn and burn” all day. (Shudder. So stressful!) We take our time, making sure every tandem student has a phenomenal and memorable experience that can legitimately earn the title of Best Day Ever.
Respect For Your Time
Our skydiving prices are straight forward, we’re against high-pressure sales tactics, and our booking procedure is quick and easy. We don’t want to mess around; we want to skydive! Most students board the plane within an hour of arrival.
Awesome Spectator Amenities
At TXS, we encourage folks to make a day of their skydiving experience. Bring your friends and family, cook up some grub on the grill, share a meal around a picnic table, and spend time with Chico the donkey and his pals.
